They operate major oil fields in such locations as Dukhan, Messaied and Al-Shaheen with substantial oil production. They also have the world’s largest non-associated gas field, making Qatar the leading international LNG producer. Qatar petroleum is also undertaking integrated full field studies of all its oil reservoirs, and major development of its gas fields. These are significant large scale projects spanning multiple years, involving integration of all subsurface data into comprehensive full field reservoir models. They use the latest industry technology and software in addition to having very large datasets to work with. The work is complex, challenging and very fulfilling.
